How are Familes in India?
Families in India are sometimes in things called joint families. A joint family is a family where mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, grandpa's, and grandmothers all live together. Most familes are joint familes in India, or at least they were. Over time, joint families were split apart as the couples and their kids left to find jobs. Even though the families drift apart, their joint family home is visited regularly.
Kids grow up in families with many cousins, sisters, and brothers to play with. So, they are never really lonely.
